The Story Behind ALKA

ALKA didn't begin with a business plan. It began with a feeling.

I've had a designer's soul for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I would make clothes from whatever I could find around the house, style my Barbies, and constantly imagine things that didn't exist yet. Creating has always been a part of who I am.

Years later, I moved to Mexico — and somewhere between the endless sun, ocean, and a life practically lived in bikinis, the idea for ALKA began to take shape.

I wanted a bikini I could genuinely feel proud to wear. Something feminine and sexy, but still elegant. Something that felt different from everything I kept seeing. A piece that didn't simply follow a trend, but made the woman wearing it feel confident, powerful and completely herself.

The idea quietly grew for almost a year before I decided to make it real.

And when I did, I wanted to do it properly.

I flew to Los Angeles myself to search for fabrics. I spent hours choosing materials, looking for colors and textures that felt special — fabrics unlike anything I had seen in the swimwear around me. I packed my favorites, brought them back with me to Mexico, and that's where the first ALKA collection began to come to life.

From the first idea and sketches to choosing every fabric and developing every piece in Mexico, ALKA has been deeply personal from the beginning.

But ALKA was never meant to be only about bikinis.

It's about the feeling you have when you put something on and instantly carry yourself differently. It's about femininity without rules, confidence without apology, and creating your own definition of what makes you feel beautiful.

Every ALKA piece is designed for the woman who wants to be noticed, but never needs permission to take up space. The woman who embraces her femininity, follows her instincts and chooses what makes her feel like the most powerful version of herself.

Swimwear is where my story begins.

And this is only the beginning of ALKA.
